I can get you about a 15 minute window but it will be difficult to keep the cops longer than that. I can't imagine it would take longer than that to write the ticket, or better yet, James seems to be on a roll and he can :bs: just about anyone. The storm clouds scared almost everyone away, including my buddy and the Corvette Club. :mad0260: I wonder how the seminar turned out? Toesuf94 was going to help with it, but got a text saying the seminar was off.

I did turn around halfway there and put Domino away and brought Trigger Happy, just in case. :D Now I kick myself for doing it. :facepalm:

No sooner did they drive away, the storm clouds broke up and the rain and everything missed Cedar Falls completely. Not one freaking drop of precipitation. :rolleyes:

We did get a possible new recruit, Jamie, who drives a tuned, black 2010 SS/RS with heat extractor hood that is pushing near 500 HP. NICE car!!! :confused0068:

I got a few sprinkles headed home on HWY 20 West but it only helped to remove the bugs. I left at 15:30 for Waterloo and got home at 22:30. Very enjoyable evening. Even getting left behind was fun. If we are interested in getting a website set up, I have a buddy that works at GoDaddy.com that can help us set up a website. Not sure how much it will cost us to set it up, but if we are interested I can ask.

Also, today I called RPI Designs to find out when they are sending my engine cover since they have had it for almost 4 weeks now. They told me they had to throw my old one away (not sure why) and make a new one and they should be shipping it by next Friday. I should get it just in time for the Camp Courageous Car Show.

How many of us are showing at Camp Courageous? ( I am and I am assuming that Ryan is) It would be great to have a n-ICE showing. We will never beat the CR Corvette Club...they bring big numbers, followed closely by the VW club. If we are going to show, we need to coordinate what to take...they have a list of things they need at the camp...paper products mostly/rubber gloves/minor medical supplies. I can get the list and we can bring some stuff and try to help them out and get us an area for Camaro parking. Over the years there is not a lot of room for the Camaros.

The Batmobile was in Cedar Falls today at The Core Comic Book Shop. :confused0068: :headbang: :thumbup:

I will be going if it rains...keeps the bugs off of it. Rained all the way home from the dealer...and last I checked the parking area outside the plant is not covered.

Cold air intakes aren't considered mods.

THR added your supercharger, not GM. So technically it's modified.

However, you can plead your case to the Blackhawk County Street Machines because they will be assigning cars to their classes.

With the chance for hail...anyone rethinking the car show today? I REALLY want to come up to 'loo...but damn those Radar images look bad. With any heating today and they are going to be ugly. I will be keeping my eye to the sky to make my final decision. Storms on the West side of Des Moines are already hail warned.

The 2012 Springfest Car Show was hot, wet, and humid, but a success!!!

Well represented by the ICE and we took home 4 pieces of hardware!!! :thumbup: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we took one 1st Place, two 2nd Place, and one 3rd place trophies.

It was GREAT seeing and sweating with the Cedar Rapids gang... Tim & family, Scott & son, and Russ. :headbang:

We tied for 1st for best club participation and split the $125 pool 3 ways with 2 other clubs.

We gave our share back to Shriner's. :thumbsup:

One of the other clubs gave half back and the other took their share and ran. :facepalm:

This weekend won't work for me since I have to work this weekend. How long will this take? I was going to suggest we could do a meeting at our next car show on May 20th at Camp Courageous if the majority of us are planning on going to that.

For those that went to that car show on Sunday, congrats for all the placements. Looks like it would have been an awesome place for a car show.
