Price???
Looking at a 1985 IROC, Black exterior, grey interior, silver stripes/rims, TPI, power windows, locks, t-tops, a/c, automatic trans. 32k original miles, never seen winter, rain or snow. Car looks to be in excellent shape. They want 15k. What do you think?

Here is a link to get an idea on pricing, plus I highly recommend this app as well
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...sModified=true |
Well, TPI is fuel injection (tuned port injection). It has 215hp, maybe 10 less than the 89-90 1/2, unless your talking the 5.7.
Thanks for the info on the pricing app, couldn't get it to work though, might be me, or my computer? |
Try just typing in www.cargurus.com then you will be able to define your search and then put how many miles your willing to drive to get a car
|
Will do, thanks!

I'm certain you can find a better price for an '85. |
Thanks PDXSSCE appreciate the input. I'll keep looking, but will keep an eye on it in case he comes down on the price.

We paid $4,000 for and '85 Z that is pretty clean, it did have high miles though
|
Don't forget that the IROC-Z made its debut to the public in 85. That'll help with the worth, plus the fact it's a low miles 305
|
we have a 92 rs 25 anv that my mom bought new then sold in 98 to by a family car and about 8 years ago my dad found it and we bought it back for 8k and did a new paintjob for 5k my dad says thers on 250 made of the 25th its value is about 25k he say so if it needs paint prob 10k is good

The price of these cars is going up pretty rapidly for IROCs and Z28s with low miles, unrestored and in good condition.
I'm looking of starting a LS3, M6, coil-over, GT project 4th gen this spring and I've been hunting for a good car to start with. Shocking how much prices have gone up the last few years. Scott |
