Slight Dilemma

We are all familiar, well I should say most of us are familiar with the auto dimming side mirrors on our camaros', well I have noticed at night when a car is behind me the auto dimming works for the driver side mirror and the rearview mirror, but doesnt at all with the passenger. I'm not sure if it's just dirty or what the problem may be can anyone help?

The passenger side is not auto dimming.

Pass side is not auto dimming. Only the Drive side and interior mirror (per my window sticker )(2SS model).

check the web site to see what comes standard with your model.

Wish I had that problem... only the 2LT and 2SS have auto-dimming anything.
Actually... I prefer the smaller non-dimming rear view mirror.

It seemed when I first had the car it did auto-dim or maybe its just my eyes playing tricks on me, both side mirrors have the border line about an 1/8" inch in or so on the actual glass to identify where the dimming starts..not sure why both mirrors would have it if only one works.

That's the heated area when the defroster is on...has nothing to do with remote dimming.

The passenger mirror is already dim because "objects in mirror appear smaller than they are".
