ZL1 rear diff

there won't be any part listing for this until early spring I am sure but you will also need axles and driveshaft so when you consider other options this might not be best. I also wonder exactly how the new ZL1 diff is made, set up, mounted and performs.

yeah if the dss 2010 axles and driveshaft would work it would be great but i doubt it would.

SS axles look like toothpicks compared to ZL1 axles.

What gears are going to be in ZL1's? Different for auto and manual?

3.73's on the M6...not sure if it's the same on the autos.

Cool thanks. Too bad I want the car to have 4.10. Seems the new Richmonds are fine...but I might just save up for the 9" or something.

I wonder if this will fix some of the problems some people have with lowering and the axles? You gotta imagine they accounted for some of this when designing the ZL1 rear/axle assembly.

That car is effing amazing. You guys see those awesome videos that were posted on the homepage?

lowering + axle problems = :iono: the only problem with axles that I know of is them snapping when people use launch control

the parts are in the gm catalog but no price yet

Yes they are but will see after the start of the year what the price's will be.

The entire set-up will be a fortune as nothing from your current rear end can be used.

will probly be way less than the other options,, a current 2010 new complete reaf diff is only around $1200, plus axles and a drive shaft,, it might not be that bad

Hylton 11-23-2011 04:32 PM

It will also be 128 pounds heavier.
