Might as well order the LS9 crate engine package from GM upgrade the suspension and a few other little items you will be good to go

Or just turbocharge. I think you're overcomplicating things a bit.

If you do that, you'll probably want to swap out the whole powertrain.(Transmission, driveshaft, rear-end)

This. Just work with the powertrain you have dude. Save yourself some money and headache.

Drop a turbo in that bad boy.

Drive what you have and wait till you find a clean used v8 car. Or turbo and be done.

A engine swap I definitely possible but there are other options for more power than just a bigger engine u could supercharger or turbo your car and make a lot more power. STS, IPF , and Rx all make kits for the v6 or u could always go with nos if u don't have the money for a supercharger or turbo
