Tire replacement
GRRRRRRR!
I short turned, scraped a rim AND ripped a tear in the sidewall of one of my 500 mile tires - GY Eagle F1 285/35ZR20 100Y, FR. GRRRRRRRRR! again I say! (Selling dealer didn't offer tire/wheel insurance) I'm finding retail prices around $340-360. A buddy that has a resale account with a Chevy Dealer even checked with the Dealer's Parts Dept. and got the same price. Is there no price relief for the hapless driver in SoCal? Anybody in SoCal got a takeoff they'd be willing to sell? |
That sucks man. I'm glad I did get wheel and tire insurance after seeing all the people getting nails in their tires. I just found a nail in my Front Right tire and have a tire on the way from Maryland. Thank God for the insurance because these tires don't come cheap.

Well then,
I'm gonna try Loctite 380 Black Max and keep a close eye on it. |
I know it's not much of a consolation, but the price has come down a lot since the car was launched.
