Exactly what I want but don't have an LS7. : (

Do you guys have a comparable package for the LS3 for my 1le?
Really looking at going with the small port LS7 heads and to be determined cam.

Yes we have a package we use on the LS3 stuff also.

Nice. What are the cam specs?

I think this might be the most powerful naturally aspirated Gen5 Z/28 done so far.. unless anyone knows of one with better numbers?

Well done regardless!!

Spoiler alert!

I had this video queued up on my Youtube to watch later.... now, no point.

Stirring up an old topic here, but curious how drivability was after these upgrades; especially low RPM street driving (and stuck in traffic scenarios).
My Z is already upgraded, but toying with the idea of tacking a bit more onto her now that I have most of the parts to take it back to stock when I want. One downside to doing that though is core exchange; I have heads redone by LPE on the car right now, and I have a set of brand new in the box LS7 heads that have never been bolted on. Hate to get only 1500 back for the core charge on either of those :/ (would returning the LPE done heads as a core even be an option).

Just curious, didn't you just mention that you have yet to enjoy your current set-up at wide open throttle? Maybe take your ride out and run up to 7 grand a few times before you spend a big chunk o' cheese and turn your car into a cantankerous street machine that may be more at home on a road race course as opposed to a trip to the bank or dry cleaner. A car buddy of mine just sold his 630 HP (crank) Z and remarked to me that after the major mods the street driveability suffered. It sure was a beast on the track however.

This one I haven't really opened up. My last one ('15 #619) had a bit more power to it (but tbh I didn't open that one up that much either), so I'm familiar with what my current one can do where its at (+25-30whp). Right now I'm just tinkering with the idea; still gathering the last of the stock parts, so it'd be a few months down the road regardless. I'm one of the, probably few, people that will add power and not actually beat the crap out of their car lol (and I am highly unlikely to ever take it to an actual track).
Street drivability is why I asked the question though; I spend a lot of time at lower rpm (say 1700-2100rpm), so thats a must for me :)

Leave it as close to stock as you can mentally tolerate. When you install a more aggressive cam your power band will move up accordingly. Low speed driveability will suffer along with your wallet. I know I'm telling you what you already know but maybe you just need to be reminded.
