Stainless Power headers, which gaskets??
 

Stainless Power headers, getting ready to install
Them and wondering which gaskets I should
Use.

They Come with high temp sealant but Wondering if I am Best to put actual gaskets on it. And if so, should I buy OEM ones or can I reuse my originals??

What have all you used??

I reused my original ones and 9 years later they sealed perfectly fine. (I used Texas speed headers though).

Stock gaskets seem to work best IMO

Throw away the goo that came with the headers and either reuse, if in good condition, the factory gaskets or buy new GM gaskets. Some things you just can't bean OEM on and the headers gaskets are one of them.

OEM is the best gasket.

I'd go with the aluminum ones.

Lot of exhaust gaskets to choose from.....OEM to aftermarket.

Just don't use the 'sealant'.

Oem for sure, the gasket maker can help keep them in place if you use a dab but its a mess. If you need those headers still we are running a big sale on Stainless Power.

New OEM

I bought my Stainless Power headers from Janetty at Camaro Fest last year and they came with a new set of OEM gaskets.

I bought new OEM gaskets when I did my headers... Since I was not performing the work, I went with new... I didn't want to pay someone again to put new ones on afterwards.
