2013 V6 Power Steering Issue
 

Hey guys, so my power steering failed. I replaced the power steering pump, that fixed the issue but the power steering failed again in a month or so. I see it leaking like before. Also my a/c does not work, there is a leak in the aluminum part of the low pressure line that I tried to J.B Weld but that did not work and I had my rack n pinion replaced a couple of years ago. What do you think is causing the power steering issue? Shops here are on waiting for weeks before they can even diagnose. Should I just replace the pump again or is there something else that’s overloading the pump and causing it to leak the fluid? The reservoir and all the connections/lines are fine. The a/c compressor has also probably failed from a/c fluid leaking out and me trying to run it in the summer (before I knew there was a leak). All help is appreciated.

Who replaced the power steering pump? Did you do it yourself? Where is the leak? Have you checked hoses and hose clamps?

There are many potential places the leak could be originating!
