What’s it gonna bring today at Mecum ?

Wow, grey color with 21 miles. I'm guessing 75k
|
Hoping to see above MSRP of 75K.
With 21 miles? Shelby will be over 100k for sure. |
21 miles!?! WTF? I baby mine but that's ridiculous. Its soul is being ruined. That car needs a new owner for sure.

A 1968 Camaro Z/28 just sold for 95k. My first car was a 1968 Camaro SS/RS. Bought it completed restored for $3,500 and sold it for 5k in 1983 without doing a thing to it besides thrashing it. Muncie 4-sp and 12 bolt posi.

$70k

With 21 miles and still can't crack MSRP?

Final Hammer price was $104,500.
So, buyer paid (10% premium) = $114,950 And the seller received (10% commission) = $94,050 |

Prices are insane across the board...:twitch: |

The date of the sale for the first Z/28 was very unfortunate. IMHO, if it was a Friday/Saturday sale, it may have been up another $10K. Quote:
Very true! My friend's friend paid more than $100K for a '67 BB Chevelle. Mecum maybe selling cheap booze and expensive cars! ;) How about $1.1M for a GTO Judge!!!! |

So the buyer pays 115K for a "new one"... That should make all the 10 to 20000 mile examples worth 75 to 90 right??? :noidea: Unfortunately as we know auction prices have no reflection on real world value. I've been to B.J. and Mecum.. Most the time is a bunch of drunk guys with FU money trying to prove who has the bigger wang ! :emoticon13: I think its great the car pulled this much though! A few under 10K miles last year struggled to get to $70K
I agree the market is sleepy on these cars. Not many vehicles in the 45 to 50K range can hold a candle to them. It's almost as if the low production numbers work against them when i feel it should be the opposite. |
