You can mark the finish line anywhere you want on the track, it doesn't have to be at the exact location of the actual track finish line. It can be ahead of the line or behind but you need to mark it...

GM does those monstrosities as camo. There were C5 chassis mules under Gen 4 Camaro bodies at one time. So ridiculous looking but the goal was to hide the authentic parts.
