about a month ago i installed the same CAI. did not disconnect battery. i unplugged the MAF to remove it from stock intake. i did however, break both clips that hold my PCV to the intake tube. (2017)...

I'll take mine through the coin-op car washes...never the automatic ones tho. and i always use the low pressure presoak and rinse before i even touch my car with anything. i DO use the "horse-hair"...
