As far as I know all 6l80 transmissions are electronically controlled which is where the "E" comes from.

Depending on how overfull it is, it might have aerated the oil, causing the oil pressure to drop.

It list on the Dorman website as the bushing being rubber vs the Z-28 being rubber covered mono-ball. Doesn't mean that it isn't the same, but makes it less likely

It's possible the yoke is loose or the splines wore. It's worth a look. I would change the transmission fluid/filter and look for metal also to see if something deeper in is damaged.
