Your dyno tuner might be able to load a starter tune directly to the ECU "on the bench" without needing the car there. Mine was.

A data logger of some type like HP Tuners or a Tech2 clone would likely pinpoint the problem pretty quickly. My guess would be a fuel or wiring issue.

I’ve heard that soldering isn’t allowed in the aviation industry for something like this since the stiffer wire after solder is more likely to break from vibration. Don’t know if that is true or not....

The compressor may be putting to much drag on the motor causing the idle to drop to low to supply vacuum to the booster. You might want to unplug the compressor and see if that makes a difference.
