With the unit plugged in there are only two options. Quite mode(NPP closed).....cruise control on......Power...

Are you sure you don't have the Radio screen turned off feature enabled in Dashlogic?

You should be able to turn cruise control on, and then push the cancel button twice to get into DashLogic's...

Another issue is that OnStar cannot update car status with the device plugged in. Not a big deal just FYI.
