I'm hoping to go to the Atlanta auto show Sunday. It's fun, but very small so I really didn't expect GM to bring a ZL1. Honestly you might have a better chance of seeing a ZL1 at the F-Body Gathering...

My 91 Z28 with a 350 TPI got 27 mpg driving like an idiot on the highway and it was stock. So power and economy is very possible. I've heard of 30 mpg highway out of LS1/T56 4th gens.

Good luck! Most full size 4wd trucks average 15-17 mpg at best even with cylinder deactivation. A diesel would be the only way you would get close to averaging 20 mpg and you would have to get a 2004...

Top switch is headlights, bottom switch is fog lights, and under the dash is a fuse panel cover. You have the same interior as my old '91 Z.

Nope, the 1LE deleted fog lights and A/C. The 1LE also gave you bigger sway bars, shocks, aluminum driveshaft and a few other goodies that I can't remember right now.
