The ZL1 1LE has a seat back that is thinner and you have to crawl in the trunk to release the latch - not easy or fun but I like to leave mine down its louder. :thumb:

It is a real pain to change the shifter in a 6thGen. Not something you want to do in a driveway yourself. Having a shop do it will probably be 4-6 hours labor.
