You mean I can switch to Manual, do the 1-2-1, then drive normal in Manual mode without having to touch the paddles??? It will basically drive as if in Automatic mode!??

Yes, full stock so far - it still is annoying when you are not steppin' on it and just cruisin' or in neighborhoods/city where speed limits are slower.

There must be some trick to disable the AFM...

tried the Manual 1-2-1 thing, but guess the AFM remains on if you switch back to Automatic. There has to be some trick to keep it off in Automatic mode - I don't want to drive daily switching gears...
