Fast mid runner with a proper cam still has killer torq and the high rpm (7200++) potential. You need to go to 7400 IMO to really use the Holley hi rise style intake. Depends on your overall setup....

Did it need a pedal stop? I needed one on my Spec slave and it caused the same problem as you when I bled the clutch with too short of a pedal stop.
. Too much pressure buildup and oring failed...

Mid rise...not so much to gain, more like Holley High rise, or the mid runner FAST. But from 3000-5400 its a 20-35hp and tq loss but worth the gain up top to 7500+. So for basic boltons, its useless...
