The biggest difference between an SS and a SS 1LE is the diff. The 1LE has the ELSD. Everything else can be upgraded in an SS to match the 1LE. IMO better to just get the 1LE and save a little on...

1LE is a manual, but it has a short throw shifter. I wouldn't go A8 because of the TC issues. The A10 seems solid. I daily my 1LE with no issues. I do wish it came with the A10 option....

What about an SS 1LE? Have you considered that? Its right between the SS and ZL1. Cost of maintenance is like a ZL1 but with the payment of an SS and insurance of an SS.

I spent 35,000 on my 2LT. I love the HUD, Nav, NPP, Leather with Heat and Air, Rear Cam, Bose system, Etc....couldn't imagine driving a Camaro without them.
