Chances are, it's slipping. I have a 3.4" Griptec pulley and super-tensioner, and it still slips above 6K RPMs. If you see a sudden drop in power on the dyno, that's a good sign it's slipping.

I always made sure I used a CC with 0% interest and more than enough time to pay it off. 'Helps to have excellent credit. ;) That said, I waited until the car was paid off to do the major mods.
