I installed mine about 10 weeks ago & they forgot to include the amp rack mounting hardware. I just mounted a piece of metal I had laying around the garage (only 1 piece-toward the front of the car)...

The amp light does go out when the cars is turned off, so somehow, it continues to draw power from the battery??? I will try the remote wire setup & see what happens....Thanks guys:)
