If this wires and connector over heated before the incident? May that cause the car to stall or loose power steering and lock, and loose conection with ECM and brakes also?

Thank you so much for that info, did answer some of my questions, and yes it does have an EDR and was downloaded already by NHTSA crash investigator but I don’t have access to it until is made public.
