Find a good shop that has a compression spot welder so they can reproduce factory looking welds or you could try 74auto.com they buy cars like this ? might be an option? Your car is also a unibody...

I have State Farm also and Just called and they changed mine no problems at all. Mine drops from 340.00 the six months I use it to 179.00 for the six months stored.

If done right it will be fine, but make sure they disassemble mirrors, upper belt mlds, door handles and Remove roof mlds and tell them you want them replaced not just retaped! Good luck
