for the most part it doesn't cause damage, to the people who turn there cars off and keep them off. its the people who keep starting it or leave it on. but yes no pump should be failing, not for many...

like i said in other threads. any pump can fail. i would bet if they put those pumps on, there would still be failures. maybe less though. if that makes you feel better :)

i am at the point where if i get a failed pump. parking the car right away, getting a tow. and sending it to my local shop. them i can trust not to start it. and just say put another pump in....
