Normal process is sand with 2000. Then sand with 3000. You'll then want to polish it preferrably with a orbital. But it looks like you might have went a little too deep.

Looks like the Hoosier 18825DBR tire. It's a radial slick. 28" overall diameter. I'm thinking this should be fine with the factory fronts I run.

Mickey or Hoosier drag radials?

Time to replace my DRs. I have Mickey Street ET R 305/45/17s. They treated me pretty good. I kind of like the Hoosier DR2 but they only come in 26"? What kind of issues will that cause me?
