It gets 'better' .... the Rags have a shrinking issue. I have close to 500 bucks sunk into MF towels and take VERY good care of these indispensable tools.

This was after two washes in warm water...

You need to test some metal cleaning/polishing/ protection products... particularly those that work best on aluminum.
