I believe what you said is correct. Parallel the two 4 ohm subs and you get 2 ohms. Amp is only stable down to 4 ohms in bridged mode. So run one 12 from each channel.

OK great, that helps a lot. That's the plan then. I'm setting up the x2 harness with bass blockers and wiring the tweeters in parallel to the mid-range. That's an easy fix to get those rear tweeters...
