I've used the ZR1 twin disc in a couple of track car builds with good results. Lingenfelter (and I'm sure there are others) sells the complete installation kit.

I leave the Trofeos home if ambients won't get above 50 deg. That's usually not a problem here in Houston. On cold or wet track days, I run my Michelin PSS2's.

Trakktape on the front end and gills. Peels right off when done. Never had any issues with it. Takes about 45 mins to do a good job but a helper makes it go faster and look better.

It's been way too hot (for me anyway) and wet to do any track days down here in Houston. But we have Grand Sport rented for the day in late October. Probably another day or two at MSR.
