You didn't read everything, GM claims this car is 3 second faster than the ZL1 around the track they tested it on. Better G for cornering and braking due to wheel/tire/brake/suspension goodies along...

If you want something with modern creature comforts you can get a ZL1 or a 1LE. Both are great track cars and daily driver cars. The Z28 is not meant to have these at all, it is a track car you drive...

Not that I am aware of but I would guess all the standard colors apply. I'm not expecting a Z28 only color option but I could see a new striping option given the new hood design.
