Spin it back out is one way as I mentioned but he does not need a big hammer and chisel. As nilfinite mentioned it could be as simple as backing it out with his finger.

If the OP did not cross thread the plug, the remainder of the plug would not be seized, therefore it should spin back out effortlessly. Easy fix, no big hammer or cold chisel needed.

I would say without a doubt absolutely NOT. Worse case installed incorrectly / kinked hose would build crankcase pressure and blow out the rear engine seal, leaving the car with an oil leak.
