Front struts replaced? I would want to find out why, that’s not something that was common. Here’s the challenge with that. Struts on the car are from MultiMatic and not used on any other production...

There are two drain plugs. Engine takes 10 QTS....

There are two drain plugs. Engine takes 10 QTS. When it cold it maxes the bar chart with 5w30, on Ed warmed up it will go up and down with RPM. 10 QTS with filter is spot on.

I think oiled filters and LS’s with MAF sensor is bad news. Oil gets in the MAF and ruins it. I did a GMPP LS3 crate engine and the paperwork said absolutely no oiled filters.

I like the ‘someone oiled the filter’ theory. Would that much oil flow against the air coming in? That would be a pretty violent burp to push it out the filter.
