Engine squeal could be your belt or tensioner.

3900? No. Zl1 will weigh at LEAST 150 more then a 2ss. At least 4000 lbs. Magna ride and blower crap are not light, plus a huge iron differential.

The heat shields are on the stock wires and are removable, but aren't part of a stock wire kit. You should always use them with manifolds (the heat shields)

There is no heat wrap or shielding on any of the plug wires, just some crappy insulation on what looks like an aftermarket fuel line of some sort.

Heat damage, thats what happens to silicone. If you use aftermarket wires with manifolds, you should use some kind of heat shielding, be it wrap or the factory shields.

Mechanical if you're leaving it in the engine bay, electrical if you want a gauge in your interior. (obviously running a fuel line into your car is bad)
