Keep your shorties. They probably sound good. OBX does not have CATS, and you would still need to purchase those. Not sure they would bolt up to the BOX set-up. HAve you removed the resonators yet...

I don't hear it due to my LT headers, and MRT exhuast. It use to have a whistle sound, but I certainly like all its performance.

I installed the INJEN myself. No problem doing it, just time.

Much easier with the tire off, you need to remove part of the front wheel...

Yes it was originally the polished one. I used IOM factory paint that I bought from an on-line distributor and then shot a couple coats of clear.
