I never had a good experience with ceramic pads. They do dust less, but usually when they heat up they tend to heat the caliper too as they don't absorb much heat and that ends up making your brakes...

They are both nice setups, but to my experience Focal has a "brighter" sound. If you have means to tune it, that would be my suggestion. That way you can attenuate it if it's too sharp.
