Montana can be done by creating a LLC. Common state to use for registration for kit cars if no possible in a home state. Probably closer to being legal if done through an LLC.

I would check a few more to compare. 2 might have a problem also but not have a misfire.

I would guess a leaking head gasket that might not be bad enough to cause a problem on compression.

There is supposed to be a way to copy all changes over for the engine without doing every tab separately. I've never used it since I'm still learning and want to see what all of the differences are.
