Hot Wheels Special Edition too

After COPO, Z28 and ZL1, my vote is for the Hot Wheels Special Edition. Of course, I might be biased a little, as my wife owns one.

No mail slot in the front

Don't see the mail slot in the front either. Also, it doesn't quite look like my wife's Hot Wheels edition

Talking First generation Honda Hybrids in the garage?

Maybe (like us) they are keeping first generation Honda Hybrids in the garage : ).
Just being silly. My wife's Hot Wheels Camaro gets the premium spot at home.

Shouldn't be that big a deal

I have not replaced my wife's '13 Camaro battery yet, but we did look at it. I thought it was kind of cool to have it in the trunk, just like we did for her '67 Camaro. I can't see it being that...

My wife is a through and through Camaro lover (me too), and she named her Hot Wheels Special Edition Helena. Definitely a she.

black or blue?

Are you asking about the blue paint or the flat black stripe on the car?

The blue on my wife's Hot Wheels is smooth and glossy as expected, and the flat black stripe is about as smooth as...

I saw this kit on a fourth gen at the recent Chevy High Performance Nationals (Atlanta Dragway), and it really looked good. Saw it on a fifth gen also (in the car show), and ...... meh. The...

Thank you!

We appreciate your work. This makes my wife's HWSE even more special to us. We got it last August, and it is just a lot of fun to have and drive.

It was very likely just a bit of water in the fuel

This has happened to two of my other cars this winter. It was the fuel. Got the flashing CEL, one threw codes (O2 sensor), other didn't. Was below 10 degrees F each time. Cured each with a bottle...

As for the HUD having another windshield, that is correct.

However, I retrofitted an HUD into the 2000 Corvette I owned from 2006 to 2012 (base coupe, mag red, non HUD windshield, several mods...

My sentiments exactly

My sentiments exactly. Only thing I changed was the wheels, and the 20" SLPs that I used look almost identical after I had the red stripe added. This is my wife's car, and she absolutely loves it,...

My wife's HWSE has only received positive comments

It took about four hours at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet to get our HWSE down to $42,500, and by then the hook was set way too deep for my wife, who had already bonded with the car . We bought...

I like the SLP wheel

Thank you for the posting. I like the SLP wheel. Tires are also way less expensive for the 20" SLP wheel. I had a wheel repair place paint the stripe on, and while not perfect, it looked pretty...

The EL-50448 works great on my wife's 2013 HWSE

I put some new SLP 20" wheels with new ZL-1 TPMS on my wife's 2013 Hot Wheels Camaro, and the EL-50448 tool I bought from Amazon worked great. Took me two tries, but after I figured out how to...

How can I do a bypass with Radio Shack resistors?

My daughter has a 2002 Camaro V6 automatic, and it didn't start (no action at all).

How do you do the bypass with the Radio Shack resistors?

I kept fiddling with the car, and held the key in...

Hendricks in Buford wanted a bit much

Looked at some nice Camaros on the lot at Hendricks in Buford a couple of weeks ago, but each had a "package" tacked on that was $7995, that was worth nowhere near that amount. Uh, I can wait.

Figured it out

Hi all,

I went to the Camaro V6 forum, and searched a bit. Turns out the cure is pretty simple, just replace the temperature sender. Apparently, when the computer senses the temp sender...

I figured it's not normal (but apparently a lot of owners experience it), but we are just not willing to invest $800 or so fixing it correctly right now. The previous owner had an aftermarket...

Temperature Gauge quit working today

Being new to 4th gen Camaros, I wanted to ask if this is common.

We have only had our 2002 V6 automatic Camaro for a couple of weeks, and the temp gage normally reads close to 210 degrees normal...

Yank Converters very good

I agree. I have had very good success with a Yank SS3200 converter. Took nearly half a second off my ET all by itself on a near stock car.

Is a ring and pinion whine normal for 2002 V6?

Hi all, first post. My wife just bought a really sweet, low miles (34,000) 2002 light pewter metallic Camaro with a V6 and automatic. Everything is great about the car except for a whine that...
