It can be a pain in the ass, but you need to remove the small bolts that hold the wire harness that goes under the oil pan. Once that has been done, you will have the room required.

Replaced mine at about 2500 miles with the Hawk ceramic pads all around. Less brake dust but still alot. I wouldn't buy them again.

Well he mentioned dropping the transmission, putting the grommet in the trans first and then putting the tube in, raising the wiring harness and lubing the tube/grommet all of which I already tried....
