Start it give it a minute then drive and don't jump on it until it comes up to temp. the faster it comes up to temp the better and that will only happen by driving it.

I like sixth because it just quiets things down...

I like sixth because it just quiets things down on the highway and that big V8 just lopes along with all the torque. Then you can just shift to fourth to blast out there when you want to.
