Hope you figure it out. Mine had an odd issue and it turned out to be the ground on the driver side. I just put a fatter cable in from the block to the body of the car and that fixed it. Super weird....

I think hardwod makes a 3 inch version that might be easier to live with. The biggest benefits at the track is the heat extraction....

Other than the stablitrack message do you get anything else? I had an issue recently with my 2010 and it ended up being a bad ground. I added a thicker cable and car has been run great since.

I had a similar issue recently and it ended up being the ground cable in the engine bay.
