A 2012 at 40k miles may of already had the blower recall fixed. The coupler in the blower usually goes out in the 10k to 30k mile range on the 12's & 13's. You can ask your dealership service...

Glad to hear someone else with a similar issue. I'm going to look into installing a new strut mount, and see if that cures the issue. I'll let everyone know how I make out.

The original owner just painted them. So you are good to go.

The flaps are always open at idle, so you won't hear them close/open unless you rev it up a bit, or take it...
