I have the vented fenders too, and although not specifically vented for heat extraction you possibly could. The MPD hood, definitely helps.

You can't go wrong with Gary's work no doubt about it, for the hood, fenders, and stripe work, I delivered the car from GA, now that I work most of the time out of TX, I drove the car down for him...

Mine was damaged by a mud flap flying off a big rig, so I was in the same boat. The dealers also can get you a reconditioned one, a little cheaper, though not much.
