Help - 2015 backup camera attempt

My saga so far:

I have had the dealer program the mylink so it turns black and I get gridlines when I put it in reverse. I tore into it last weekend, and the quick connector with the video cable...

Ok, I am a big dummy. I thought it was a power cord, but it is a video cord. I am far too used to the red line being power in security cameras.

Maybe I will pull the head unit and look at what I have this weekend before I commit to a dealer.
