Looks like their 427s are stroker LS3 based. Still very cool and I have been looking at one of these for my C5Z track car but for the purist Z/28 guys (like myself) they're not really an option...

I think you would be very happy with a Z/28 for a hobbyist/therapy machine. They are great twisty road cars and pull like you always THOUGHT a muscle car should. 505 HP, 6-speed manual and 3.91 gears...
