You can use a 3 way switch if you wanted to have multiple power source/. I'm assuming you would want it so just the halo's are on for a show or whatnot? I used a 3 way switch for my footlwell...

Are you using t taps to connect the resistors? If so make sure that they are peircing thru the insulation of the wire and are actually making good contact with the copper.

Those wipers arms are a total paint to remove. I found by kinda pushing in the middle of the arm, it takes some of the tension away and it makes it eaiser to remove.
