Did this yesterday and it's great. I had a lot of trouble on one side due to a bad capacitor. I recommend testing your components with a multimeter before pulling your hair out!

Bought these and put them on then decided they were too dark with my body color. So I took them off and put the originals back on.

Sounds like a loose connection. When I first installed my t-taps, one of the DRL would not come on and the halo on that same side was a little dim. I went back and re-seated my t-taps and it worked.
