Most recent somewhat related thread I could dig up without starting yet another tire thread question...
Looking to replace original Trofeo's with a 3 season street tire. Track manners are not a huge consideration for these tires/rims. I mainly want the tires to perform well in questionable Colorado weather that I might not start in but will inevitably encounter on the way home (rain, possibly snow, cold temps). Car will be used as a "drive it when possible" car. Not necessarily looking to go bigger on these tires than stock.
So far it looks like the Bridgestone Potenza's and the Michelin PSS might have some votes, anyone else want to chime in on your likes/dislikes for 3 season-ish tires??
Bonus questions - what is the realistic safe pavement temperature for driving on the Trofeo's?? I've heard things get a bit dicey below 40..?? What happens then - does the tire come apart before my nerves/ability, or vice versa??
Thanks,
Mike
