For a thousand dollars more I’m getting my damaged L99 motor completely rebuilt with all new forged internals, with my choice of a blower cam and LS3 conversion and all new valve train, the weakest link in a L99, Melling pump, ARP bolts, etc. I’m having all the labor done also, by a reputable performance shop in Southern California.
