Thanks so much for the nice comments and feedback. Here are some answers:
1. I was not able to get an decent shots from the rear of the car before shipping the car to Vegas for Barrett-Jackson. I will try to get some shots when I get there on Tuesday evening. The rear valence is complete however we may make a few tweaks to the exhaust opening.
2. Yes this car will be at SEMA. It will be located in the Mobil 1 display which is near the GM display from what I am told. We will have an official unveiling on the first day of the show, November 3 (Tuesday morning).
3. HPE will offer each individual Cam-Aero (tm) component separately: Front splitter, side rocker panels and rear bumper. The parts will be sold in the following finishes:
A. Ready to Paint (primered fiberglass)
B. Hydro-Carbon - direct bolt-on
C. Carbon Fiber - direct bolt-on
4. HPE will announce pricing and availability this coming week. Orders can be placed and no deposit or payment will be required to place an order. Once your order is ready for shipment you will be contacted for payment. There is no obligation and you can cancel the order at any time for any reason should you decide not to take the parts when they are ready to ship.
5. HPE will not be offering to paint and ship parts. If you would like them painted, just take them to your local body shop to have them painted and installed.
6. The front splitter is low in these pics as the car has been lowered nearly 2 inches in the front. If you keep your stock ride height then you should be fine. I will get some measurements to let you know exactly how much front end clearance you lose with our front splitter.
7. The HPE700 Camaro will not be utilizing a see-through hood design like the ZR1. The LS9 motor sits about 5 inches below the Camaro's hood. Thus there is just too much of a gap and it does not look right to me. So this is one of those design changes we had to make once we got into the build of this car. I actually prefer the clean look of the car without the window. The only indication of what this sleeper has under the hood is the LS9 moniker painted on the front corner of the bumper.
Thanks again and I will try to address any other questions as they come up. Please feel free to email me if I can help you. I am quicker on responding to emails than I am on PM's. Thanks.
