Decided to get the car inspected today -- just to make sure the 'permanent' code that has yet to clear, does not impact things.

Turns out, it does not. I verified the smog check in BlueDriver -- and it only had the 'evap' not ready, which in Texas is ok.

So no active MIL, MIL light validated, emissions tests ready -- got it done. Its due in March but, Texas allows you to get it up to 90 days before you need your tags -- so I figured get it over with -- now I'm good to go!

I also have Dave from DSX setting up another PCM for me as my backup. With me doing all kinds of testing and changes, if I brick this one, I have my backup -- don't want to be down and out if I screw things up ;o)
